I love baseball.
Never was a good player, but I understand the game enough to appreciate its subtlety; it is in my blood.

I go to Angels and Dodgers games from time to time, but this year we’ve had a few different kind of games.

The first one was the inaugural World Baseball Classic. With this event becoming a regular event world wide, who needs baseball in the Olympics? With all the top pros from participating nations, it was great.

The second was the highschool game between U.S. and Japanese all-stars. This one didn’t collect much attention (in the U.S.), but watching the future pro players on both sides of Pacific in action was intriguing. Some of them may be in the next WBC...
